
Format of FT-50 text file

This documents FT-50 text file.

In general, texts used in dump are same than in FT-50 user interface.

Empty lines are ignored.  Comments start with `#' .  Leading and trailing
white space are ignored.

Hex dump lines (starting with b[1-8] [0-9a-f][0-9a-f][0-9a-f]:) are treated
as comments.  They are for user information only.

Channel data (home channels, memories, VFOs and current settings) are encoded
in one line as follows:
	- Channel name
	- Flags (if applicable).  Valid values are:
		- -: no flags
		- UM: Used, masked
		- M: Masked
		- U: Used
		- USM: Used, skipped, masked
		- SM: Skipped, masked
		- US: Used, skipped
	- Power out.  Valid values are: HI, L3, L2, L1 .
	- Channel step.  Valid values are: 5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 50 .
	- Code memory.  Valid values are: C, P, 1, ... , 6 .
	- Paging status.  Valid values are:
		- -: No paging
		- PG: Paging
		- TP: Trigger paging
		- CO: Code squelch
	- Repeater status: SI = simplex, -R = negative offset, +R = positive
	  offset, +- = separate rx/tx frequencies
	- Selective call: - = none, E = CTCSS encode, E+D = CTCSS encode +
	  decode, DCS = DCS
	- CTCSS tone: 67.0, 69.3, 71.9, 74.4, 77.0, 79.7, 82.5, 85.4,
	  88.5, 91.5, 94.8, 97.4, 100.0, 103.5, 107.2, 110.9,

SUB:
This is sub display status.  Valid values are: off, on, dc .

APO:
This is auto power off.  Valid values are: off, 0.5h, 1h, 3h, 5h, 8h .

TOT:
This is time-out timer.  Valid values are: off, 1min, 2.5min, 5min, 10min .

LOCK:
This is lock status (if engaged).  Valid values are: kl, dl, kl+dl, pl, kl+pl,
dl+pl, kl+dl+pl .

RSAV:
This is receiver saver.  Valid values are: off, 0.2s, 0.3s, 0.5s, 1.0s, 2.0s

LAMP:
This is lamp status.  Valid values are: 5sec, key, tgl .

BELL:
This is bell status.  Valid values are: off, 1, 3, 5, 8, rpt .

ID:
This is call sign for CW id.

ARTS:
This is ARTS status.  Valid values are: off, rx, tx, trx .

ARTS/BEEP:
This is ARTS beep status.  Valid values are: off, rang, all .

These are autodialer memories.

These are DTMF code memories.  First parameter is decode flag (- or D), second
parameter is actual contents.

PAGE/SPED:
This is paging speed.  Valid values are: 50ms, 100ms .

PAGE/DLAY:
This is paging delay.  Valid values are: 250ms, 450ms, 750ms, 1000ms .

PAGE/BELL:
This is paging bell.  Valid values are: off, 1, 3, 5, 8, rpt .

PAGE/ASBK:
This is paging answerback.  Valid values are: off, ans, for .

CURR/VFOA:
CURR/VFOB:
These are the current VFOs.

CURR:
These are the current settings.  See above.

 SQL:
This is squelch.  Valid values are 0, 1, ... , 15.

WSQL:
This is wide FM squelch.  Valid values are 0, 1, ... , 15.

RPTL:
This is RPTL (on or off).

AMOD:
This is auto mode (on or off).

SCNL:
This is scan lamp (on or off).

RESM:
This is scan resume (5sec or carr).

ARS:
This is automatic repeater shift (on or off).

BEEP:
This is keypad beep (on or off).

LCK:
This is lock (on or off).

LGT:
This is light (on or off).

PAGE/AMSG:
This is page/amsg (on or off).

BCLO:
This is busy channel lockout (on or off).

CWID:
This is CW id status (on or off).

TSAV:
This is transmit saver status (on or off).

ARTS/SPED:
This is ARTS speed (25 or 15).

RVHM:
This is primary function of RV/HM key (rev or home).

MON:
This is function of MONI/TCALL button (tcal or mon).
