
Format of VX1 text file

This documents VX-1 text file.

In general, texts used in dump are same than in VX1 user interface.

Empty lines are ignored.  Comments start with `#' .  Leading and trailing
white space are ignored.

Current settings, VFOs, smart search memories and configuration group 1
memories are encoded in one line as follows:
	- Channel name
	- Band (if applicable).  Valid values are: FM, AIR, V-HAM, VHF-TV,
	  ACT1, U-HAM, UHF-TV, ACT2 .
	- Receive frequency as MHz.kHz
	- Offset or transmit frequency, likewise
	- Scan skip: S = skip, - = don't skip
	- Display: FRE = frequency, ALP = alphanumeric
	- Mode: FM-N, FM-W, AM
	- Repeater status: SI = simplex, -R = negative offset, +R = positive
	  offset, +- = separate rx/tx frequencies
	- Selective call: - = none, E = CTCSS encode, E+D = CTCSS encode +
	  decode, DCS = DCS
	- Power out: HI or LO
	- Clock offset: C = active, - = not active
	- Channel step: 5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100
	- CTCSS tone: 67.0, 69.3, 71.9, 74.4, 77.0, 79.7, 82.5, 85.4,
	  88.5, 91.5, 94.8, 97.4, 100.0, 103.5, 107.2, 110.9,

Configuration group 2 memories are encoded as follows.  Valid values are same
as in Configuration Group 1.
	- Channel name
	- Band (if applicable).
	- Receive frequency as MHz.kHz
	- Scan skip
	- Display
	- Mode
	- Repeater status
	- Selective call
	- Power out
	- Clock offset
	- Channel step
	- Alphanumeric name, if any.

BC band VFO and memories have the following information:
	- Channel name
	- Receive frequency as MHz.kHz
	- Name, if any

BAND:
This is current band.  Valid values: BCBAND, FM, AIR, V-HAM, VHF-TV, ACT1,
U-HAM, UHF-TV, ACT2 .

BSYLED:
This is status of busy led.  Valid values: on, off .

BCLO:
This is status of busy channel lock out.  Valid values: on, off .

BEEP:
This is status of beeps.  Valid values; on, off .

SCNL:
This is status of scan light.  Valid values: on, off .

RESUME:
This is status of scan resume.  Valid values: 5sec, carre .

ATMD:
This is status of auto mode.  Valid values: manual, auto .

ARS:
This is status of automatic repeater shift.  Valid values: on, off .

LAMP:
This is status of display lamp.  Valid values: key, 5sec, tgl .

APO:
This is status of automatic power off.  Valid values: off, 0.5h, 1h, 3h, 5h,
8h .

RXSAVE:
This is status of receiver saver.  Valid values: off, 0.2s, 0.3s, 0.5s, 1.0s,
2.0s .

LK:
This tells if keyboard lock is engaged.  Valid values: on, off .

LOCK:
This tells what locks are turned on if LK: is engaged.  Valid values: kl, dl,
kl+dl, pl, kl+pl, dl+pl, kl+dl+pl .

BELL:
This tells how many times bell is ringed on various occasions.  Valid values:
off, 1, 3, 5, 8, rpt .

ARTSBP:
This is status of ARTS beep.  Valid values: off, rang, all .

SMTMD:
This is status of SMT MD.  Valid values: single, conti .

TOT:
This is status of time-out timer.  Valid values: off, 1min, 2min, 5min, 10min.

DIALM:
This tells function of rotary dial.  Valid values: dial, volsql .

MONTC:
This tells function of MON / TCALL switch.  Valid values: mon, tcal .

GRP:
This tells channel group in use.  Valid values: grp-1, grp-2 .

CWID:
This is status of CW IDer.  Valid values: on, off .

DTMFM:
This is default DTMF memory.  Valid values: dtmf-1, dtmf-2, dtmf-3, dtmf-4,
dtmf-5, dtmf-6, dtmf-7, dtmf-8, manu 

VOL:
This is status of volume setting.  Valid values:  mute, 1, ... , 31

SQL:
This is status of squelch setting.  Valid values:  aut, opn, 1 , ... , 10

CURR:
These are the current settings.  Encoding described above.

SS/-15: - SS/15:
These are the smart search memories.  Encoding described above.

ID:
This is the call sign for CW ID.

VFO/BCBAND:
This is the BC band VFO.

VFO/FM:

These are the VFOs. See above. In case of CG 2, parameters that are not im
